Ph.D. in Library Science from an HEC recognized University with 2 years relevant experience. Must have computer proficiency OR Master’s Degree (B-grade in Semester System/1st Division in Annual System) or equivalent from an HEC recognized University in Library Science/Information Science with 5 years professional experience in BPS-17 or equivalent in IT applications in Libraries Should have completed special training courses in the IT Field and have the ability to deliver presentations, training for the use of electronic resources.
Procedure:
i. IIU reserves the right to short list the candidates and to reject any/allapplications without assigning any reason.
ii. Applicants applied for the posts of Lab Engineer Electronics/Electrical Engineering (Male) & Manger Information Resource Centre (IRC) in response to our previous advertisement published on April 19, 2009. They don’t need to apply afresh.
iii. Applications on prescribed forms (for posts in BPS-17 & above) obtainable from the Personnel-V Section or to be down-loaded from the website www.iiu.edu.pk duly completed in all respects along-with attested copies of testimonials, experience certificates and NOC from the present employer (if any) with Crossed Postal Order/Pay Order/Bank Draft (in favour of Additional Director (Finance), IIU of Rs.300/-
iv. Applicants for the posts in BPS-16 & below may apply on plain paper with crossed Postal Order/Pay Order/Bank Draft for Rs.50/- along with copies of the required documents as indicated above.
v. The last date of receipt of applications is May 05, 2010 in the Office of the Deputy Director (Personnel), International Islamic University, Admin Block, New Campus Sector H-10, Islamabad.

II. GENERAL
I. Candidates for the post(s) mentioned at Sr.No.1 to 33 are required to submit one (01) set of application on the prescribed forms and remaining all other posts are submit their applications on plain papers along with attested copies of degrees, result cards, transcripts and certificates with Research Work / Publications. In case, degree has not been issued, a certificate to that effect signed by the Controller of Examinations might be accepted. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.
II. Application forms can be had from the Deputy Registrar (Admin-I) by hand or by mail by sending a large size self-addressed envelop with Rs.25/- postage stamps. Forms will not be sent by post if an envelope as indicated is not sent. In case, application forms are required by courier service etc., a Bank draft of Rs.100/- in favour of the Treasurer, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan be sent. Application form can also be down loaded from B.Z.University web site: www.bzu.edu.pk.
III. Applicants from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, but they must supply complete bio-data along with copies of degrees/testimonials and experience certificates without which the application will not be considered.
IV. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms with necessary documents, complete in all respect.
V. Applications must be accompanied with bank draft (non- refundable) of Rs.200/- for the posts mentioned at Sr.No.01 to 10 and Rs.100/- for the posts mentioned at Sr.No.11-33, in favour of the Treasurer, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Applicants from abroad must send with their application a draft of $ 15/- (US) drawn in favour of the Treasurer.
VI. A most recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the application form.
VII. Candidates already in service of a Government/ Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by the due date, otherwise their application will not be entertained. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained, even though posted before the last date. Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained.
