Additional Director (Library)
BPS-19

PhD/M.Phil/1st class Masters Degree in Library Science

15 years practical experience as senior librarian in large size teaching/training institution.


Librarian
BPS-18
Master’s in Lib Science, Computer Science and other relevant subjects of Social Sciences from HEC recognised institute.
8 years professional practical experience in relevant field, experience as librarian in large size public/corporate organization will be given preference.

Deputy Director (Publication & Reproduction)
BPS-18
M.Phil/1st class Master's Degree in Public Policy, Economics, Finance, Management, Public Administration, HR Development, Law, Strategic and Security Studies, History, Political Science, International Relations, MSc Lib Science and other relevant subjects of Social Sciences from HEC recognized institution.

4 years Research/Training/Teaching experience in recognized teaching/research institution with 8 years professional practical experience in relevant field.
or
Public Servant/Senior Executive with similar qualification with 12 years professional practical experience in relevant field, experience in public/large size private printing press will be preferred


Archive Officer
17/18
Master’s in Lib Science, Computer Science and other relevant subjects of Social Sciences from HEC recognised institute.
8 years professional practical experience in relevant field, experience as librarian in large size public/corporate organization will be given preference.

Assistant Librarian
17
Master’s in Lib Science, Computer Science and other relevant subjects of Social Sciences from HEC recognised institute.
5 years professional practical experience in relevant field, , maintenance and systematic arrangements of lib books selves, and familiar with cataloguing and filling system, experience as Asst librarian in large size public/corporate teaching / research institutions will be given preference.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Pay scales will be as indicated against each post plus usual allowances admissible under the existing government rules, with an additional allowance equivalent to one month basic pay scale. Higher initial pay with in the scales is possible if qualifications and experience justify. Benefits of leave will be admissible according to Government policies which are amended time to time. Transport facility will be provided to BPS-19 and above as per authorization.
2. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers.
3. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.

4. The NSPP reserves the right not to fill any post/with hold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.

INSTRUCTIONS:

a. Three application forms duly completed and accompanied by all required documents should be submitted to Human Resource Department, National School of Public Policy (NSPP) not later than the prescribed date 8th February, 2010.
b. Please answer each question clearly and completely. The application must be signed by the applicant.
c. Use additional sheets, if necessary.
d. Attested copies of certificates and 3 recent photographs and copy of CNIC should be submitted with the application.
e. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the applicant.
